Wildlife on Pan Beach

Pan Beach, 29.12.2012
Our beach is not called pan beach, but I don’t know the name and the bungalows are called this way. Anyway, since it is low tide and after a morning discovering Krabi and surroundings it seemed the only alternative to swimming, we took a stroll to a little island in front of the beach. Think it’s boring? Look at the ground. If you stop for a moment and observe the little animals you see here, it is amazing to find a lot of activity going on. One guy eating or ramming the other. Groups of animals moving somewhere. Micro crabs digging themselves into the sand. We found a jellyfish, several red and yellow stars, small brown stars, shells etc. And the moment you walk on a “crab field” they start making sounds, as if they were applauding you. Fantastic wildlife!
